For the first time in OCM history, there is stability in the team of Flappende Fietsers. So goals can be identified.
It is quite evident that Flappende Fietsers will spent some time in division 2. A goal here is to fight our way to the top of this division. At the moment there is absolutely no need to apply for a worldtour card. This team feels comfortable with the procontinental status.
With Guus Holst and Max Iwers the team has two climbing captains. Spencer Paterson is the golden team mate. Alfons Deiman is the loyal Dutch guy. Very popular with the fans, always working hard and the teams first captain.
Sponsors and fans are however a bit disappointed about the amount of Dutchies in the team. Iwers is in there hearts, but can never be as popular as Holst or Deiman simply because of his nationality. Therefore scouting focus turned more to dutch talents and teammates. What doesn't mean that other nationalities will be neglected.
Management and team is very content with the teams captains, however sometimes the team lacks support to control the race. Therefore 2 more decent teammates should be added to the team.
Also about the support the team is not very content. On the long-term two highly skilled doctors (recovery and health) and a race mechanic will be added to the team.
There is also a cry for help concerning the equipment of the team. The team wants specific climbing equipment. Negotiations with Shimano are going, but no deals are closed yet.
The main race goal for next season will be the Volta ao Porto. Since Iwers is very similar to last season winners Czechowski, good times are looming. However to achieve some decent results he will need a trip to the TT-centre first.

good luck in the future and i hope Spencer proves to be the team mate you were looking for
TT centre is definitely a thing he will need and then he is one of the favourites and makes me wish I could be there to have Czechowski race against him :) But I probably won't be, as I guess my climbers will get some points till the end of the season and I will stay in Top Division when Volta sign up opens :)
